There are no any special differences: 1) When you launch the PicRT - after you open a project the PicRT automatically launch the DrawServ.exe. 2) When you launch the DrawServ and PicRT separately - you do the same work, but manually.
The second way is more preferable for the projects where more than one remote clients (PicRT) will communicate with one math-server (DrawServ).
