if one marks the Channel Scale Control Flag,for output type channel, when the input value exceeds the hi limit value, the output value will be limited to the hi limit value. but for the input type channel, it will only mark a error flag but not limit the output value. so I can not use this method to limit a input type channel.pls. tell me the processing principle. and how can I limit a input type channel value not by FBD program?

It is realy so, and there is no any other method excluding FBD program on Translate control. The difference between Input and Output processing (in the limitation part) based on the principle: that it is more dangerous to send exceeding boundaries control value, than receive it.
